Dada movement and Sophie Arp
Dada was a literary and artistic movement that began in Switzerland. It came about as a reaction to World War I and the nationalism that they believed to have caused the war. The Dada movement outputted a lot of different things from sculptures to paintings and even poetry. The aesthetic Dada produced was art that mocked materialistic and nationalistic attitudes which influenced others all over the world in places such as New York, Paris and even Berlin but the Dada movement started to dispensary when surrealism appeared. Dada movement still became the cornerstones of various categories of modern and contemporary art which we still see today.
